Rare in this condition. The key for the cabinet is missing. There is no damage or alterations. Both instruments, Chronometer and Sextant, were owned and used by a Danish merchant fleet captain during his service at sea. He carried this chronometer and sextant to verify the accuracy of the ship’s own navigational instruments — a practice common among highly experienced officers.
