Doos - Glas, Emaille, Messing - Antique Cranberry Glass

A beautiful antique cranberry glass casket / bonbonnière, dating to the 19th century (likely second half).

The piece is executed in richly coloured cranberry (ruby-red) glass and features an elegant lobed “pumpkin” form. It is decorated with delicate gilt accents and fitted with an original brass mount with hinge, showing an attractive aged patina.

The glass displays small air bubbles and irregularities, characteristic of hand-blown production. The base is marked with the number “50”, likely a model or production reference.

Condition:
Good antique condition with age-related wear.
There is a visible crack on the inner rim of the lid (clearly shown in the photos). The piece remains stable and highly decorative.
