At the front of the book is a written dedication by Jaring and an invitation card for the book presentation. Cor Jaring was the biographer/photographer of a chaotic period in the Dutch capital Amsterdam. His most famous photos are those of the happenings around the Lieverdje, the actions of the Provos, the wedding of Princess Beatrix, and the Insect Sect. Also photos of John Lennon, the Albert Cuyp Market, the Wallen, the dockworkers and the 'Bed-In' of John Lennnon and Yoko Ono.
