Rosario Civello - Monuments of Nature #1

Deze foto maakt deel uit van het project "Monuments of Nature", gewijd aan de stammen van eeuwenoude olijfbomen. Het project is bedoeld als eerbetoon aan de levensduur en majesteit van deze fenomenen, en nodigt de waarnemer uit om stil te staan bij hun stille aanwezigheid en de herinneringen die zij bevatten.
De gedraaide oppervlakken, door de tijd gladgestreken en door natuurlijke agentschappen gevormd, krijgen bijna sculpturale waarde en veranderen elke boom in een waar monument van de Natuur.

Het is gedrukt op fijn kunstpapier Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique II Satin 310 g/m² en wordt verzonden samen met het Certificaat van Echtheid. Editie 3/20 in de maat 37,5x30 cm (totaal formaat 48,4x33 cm), gesigneerd, gedateerd, getiteld en genummerd door de auteur op de achterzijde.

Over Rosario Civello

Rosario Civello is een bekroonde fotograaf geboren in Italië. Zijn natuurlijke neiging tot minimalisme leidt hem ertoe het verborgen orden van dingen te zoeken in zichtbare chaos. Hij ontleedt de scène visueel, evacueert overbodige elementen om deze minimalistische taal te bereiken.

Hij werd uitgeroepen tot Photographer of the Year in prestigieuze fotowedstrijden:
