Produzione italiana, circa anni ’70.

Altezza: 75 cm

ENGLISH

Set of 4 dining chairs by Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot, Italy, 1970s.

Sophisticated and elegant set of four Italian dining chairs featuring a sculptural bentwood structure, an emblematic expression of the radical and glamorous Italian design of the 1970s.

The design stands out for its exceptional balance between architectural rigor and organic fluidity: the structure develops as a single continuous gesture, creating a wrapping and instantly recognizable silhouette, characteristic of Willy Rizzo’s aesthetic language and Mario Sabot productions.

The curved backrest harmoniously interacts with the closed sled base, generating a refined interplay of solids and voids that gives the chairs a strong sculptural presence while maintaining remarkable visual lightness.

The ruby-colored upholstered seats introduce a sophisticated chromatic contrast with the warmth of the wood, further enhancing the cinematic and refined character of the ensemble.

The entire set perfectly embodies the most iconic Italian aesthetic of the period: discreet luxury, sculptural modernism, and refined craftsmanship.

Italian production, circa 1970s.

Height: 75 cm
