The Kenwood KT-8300 is widely regarded as one of the finest analogue FM tuners produced during the golden age of hi-fi. Manufactured in Japan between 1976 and 1979, this flagship tuner combined exceptional sensitivity, outstanding selectivity, and audiophile-grade sound quality in a beautifully engineered silver-faced chassis.
Designed to complement Kenwood's acclaimed KA-series amplifiers, the KT-8300 features a sophisticated FM front end with a 6-gang tuning capacitor, dual-gate MOSFET circuitry, wide and narrow IF bandwidth selection, and a highly accurate analogue tuning system. Its advanced design allows the tuner to extract weak signals with remarkable clarity while maintaining excellent stereo separation and low distortion.

To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
