Robert Freke Gould - A Concise History of Freemasonry - 1903
An interesting work offers a unique insight into the secret world of the medieval guilds that continue to intrigue and mystify us today. Written by Robert Freke Gould, who was best known for this work, being a prominent Freemason. He was also a soldier and barrister.
