what a great piece of history! And not easy to find!

A large size original motor racing trophy measuring 28 cm x 10 cm
dated around 1955
On a solid wooden stand
On the lid is a stylised motor race driver with helmet and goggles
on his motorcycle with nr. 1 on his number shield
The small shield on the wooden base can still be engraved so this trophy could be but back into service again. for example an old timer or vintage event.
The fork of the motorcycle is a prewar girder type fork, the top piece may actually been cast before the war.
and these trophies were made with old stock.
