Outstanding ships barometer / millimeter Designed and made by August Schatz & Sohne "Jahresuhrenfabrik". Made in West Germany, around estimated 1970/80

The curved thermometer indicates temperature in both Celcius and Fahrenheit. This is the version: “Precision Barometer".
The front glass window is all intact without scratches, and can easily be opened. The brass housing has some wear and tear.

About:
August Schatz founded this company in the mid-1850s in Triburg, Germany. It was first known as Jahresuhrenfabrik A.G. But in 1923 it changed to August Schatz & Sohne. They produced barometers, mechanical clocks and electric quartz clocks.
The company struggled to compete in the early 1980s and finally closed down in 1985.

All items are wrapped in protection, foam or air bubbles and in full compliance with the German Packaging Act. And packed in a solid box for fragile objects, protection is increased.
