A charming pair of Dutch Delft blue and white landscape tiles, each with traditional Dutch canal and village scenes featuring sailing boats, windmills, cottages and church architecture.

The tiles are presented in attractive solid oak frames with a warm patina that complements the blue and white decoration beautifully. The elongated rectangular format is less commonly encountered than the standard square Delft tiles, making this pair particularly decorative and appealing for collectors of Dutch ceramics and antique interior pieces.

Both scenes display the characteristic Delft style with finely painted details and atmospheric landscapes. The tiles have been preserved in their period oak frames and are ready for wall display.

Condition

The tiles and frames are in good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with their age, one has a small missing part on the corner which is not visible because it is under the frame. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an integral part of the description.
