Elegant set of three Indonesian Wayang teaspoons, made of 925 sterling silver and decorated with finely pierced and engraved traditional Wayang figures.

The openwork handles show detailed craftsmanship, with carefully engraved clothing, headdresses and ornamental motifs inspired by Indonesian shadow-puppet culture. Although highly decorative, these are fully usable tea or coffee spoons, making the set both practical and collectible.

Each spoon is marked 925 and also bears an additional maker’s/workshop mark.

The set most likely dates from the mid-20th century.
