Deze paar deurklinken of trekgrepen behoort tot de productie van architectonische hardware uit het eerste derde van de twintigste eeuw, behorend tot de Art Nouveau- of Art Déco-periodes. Elk stuk is robuust opgebouwd met een massieve messing bevestigingsstructuur (in plaats van puur koper) waaraan een ergonomisch gevormde halve maan-handgreep van gedraaid hardhout is bevestigd. Het messing beschikt over een origineel centraal spanning-systeem met een schroef met gleufkop en een reliëf geribbelde knop die diende om de metalen bevestigingsring vast te zetten. Elk handvat heeft een breedte van 15 cm, een hoogte van 9,5 cm en een diepte van circa 3,5 cm. Met een stevig gewicht van 300 g per stuk weerspiegelen ze de dichtheid en de vakmanschap van interieurdecoratie uit die periode. Weighing a solid 300 g each , they reflect the density and build quality typical of period interior hardware . The set is in good overall condition , with the wood showing natural surface color variations and the brass displaying an authentic dark patina that genuinely witnesses its age.
