History

A classic Junghans Astra pocket watch from the 1950s, fitted with the Junghans J24 hand-wound mechanical movement.

The J24 was produced by Junghans between approximately 1953 and 1958 and was used in Astra pocket watches. The movement is notable for its robust construction and shock-protection system.

The watch features a clean cream-coloured dial with applied Arabic numerals, luminous-filled hands and a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock. The Junghans star logo is also present on the winding crown.
