Illustrated throughout with 12 tipped-in colour plates and additional black and white line drawings by world-renowned artist Debra McFarlane. Illustrated endpapers and a map of Neverland. The Folio Society produced both a standard edition of J.M.Barrie’s "Peter Pan and Wendy", and a Fine Edition, the latter in 2006 being much larger (34 x 26 cm in slipcase) than the standard edition. The book is printed on Caxton Wove paper. A very fine book free from internal inscriptions, bound in dark blue full buckram, blocked with a design by the artist. Page tops stained dark blue. A very fine book free from internal inscriptions, burgundy cloth bound boards with polychrome and gilt illustration by Dulac to front board, similarly polychromed and gilt titling to the spine, the text blocks bright and crisp with red top stain. Binding design redrawn based on Edmund Dulac`s design for "My Days with the Fairies" by Mrs. R. Stawell. Page tops stained burgundy.
