Very beautiful set of four fairy tales volumes published by The Folio Society in London. 1. "Peter Pan and Wendy" by J. M. Barrie, 2006 first edition thus Fine Edition, published by The Folio Society in London. Illustrated throughout with 12 tipped-in colour plates and additional black and white line drawings by world-renowned artist Debra McFarlane. Illustrated endpapers and a map of Neverland. The Folio Society produced both a standard edition of J.M.Barrie’s "Peter Pan and Wendy", and a Fine Edition, the latter in 2006 being much larger (34 x 26 cm in slipcase) than the standard edition. The book is printed on Caxton Wove paper. A very fine book free from internal inscriptions, bound in dark blue full buckram, blocked with a design by the artist. Page tops stained dark blue. Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up, is one of children`s literature most enduring creations. This large format edition is modelled on the most beautiful children book`s of the Edwardian era.
