A natual banded agate bead talisman from the ancient Silk Road, Central Asian culture.
Second Millennium AD .
In good condition. It has been cleaned and repolished , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding and boring. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
