Ancient Roman Bronze Oil Lamp Circa 1st-3rd century AD This attractive bronze oil lamp has an elongated body with a rounded shoulder and a central circular filling hole framed by a raised rim, the surrounding upper surface decorated with opposed scrolls. A long, narrowing nozzle extends to a small rounded wick hole, while the rear rises into a high, curved handle.
