This large undertaking was first published in 1715 and reissued in this edition four years later. Accompanying the descriptions of plants (some noted for the first time) are 100 lovely copper-plate engravings. Although the numbering is erratic, and the last plate is included twice, the book is complete and includes the frontispiece by Bouisson.
