DKW - NZ 350-1 - Wehrmacht - 350 cc - 1944

Rare DKW NZ 350-1 Wehrmacht military motorcycle manufactured in 1944. This motorcycle represents one of the final wartime production models of the famous DKW NZ 350-1 and remains a highly desirable collector’s piece among military vehicle enthusiasts and collectors of historic military motorcycles. The motorcycle is presented in military configuration with side storage box, blackout equipment, canvas headlight cover and period-style military finish. It retains a high degree of originality and is largely complete. The original identification plate is present and indicates production year 1944. Frame/serial number: 617871. The motorcycle remains visually impressive and has been preserved with an authentic appearance. The paintwork is in good overall condition with minor signs of age and use consistent with a historic military motorcycle. It has not been over-restored and retains the character expected from an original wartime machine. Some individual components may have been replaced during its long service life, which is normal for a motorcycle more than 80 years old. Buyers are encouraged to carefully inspect all photographs regarding originality and condition. The fuel tank, frame, controls and bodywork present well. The seat, footrests and handlebar controls show normal age-related wear. The motorcycle is suitable both for display and participation in historic vehicle events and military vehicle gatherings. Mechanically, the motorcycle is complete and was previously prepared for road registration. It requires only a minor service and inspection before regular road use after storage. The machine is suitable for registration and road use. As with any historic vehicle, routine recommissioning checks are recommended before riding. The motorcycle is registered in the United Kingdom and is supplied with UK registration documentation. It is offered as a largely original example, retaining its military character and period-correct appearance. Original military features and accessories contribute to its collector appeal.
