Este candelabro antiguo, transformado en lámpara de sobremesa, es una pieza de gran presencia visual y valor decorativo, realizada en bronce macizo con motivos mitológicos al gusto del estilo Imperio.

La base, claramente original del siglo XIX, presenta figuras de peces estilizados —probablemente delfines o criaturas marinas simbólicas— que evocan la abundancia, la fertilidad y la protección, temas recurrentes en la iconografía neoclásica. Estos animales, con escamas detalladas y expresión escultórica, se disponen de forma simétrica, sosteniendo la estructura con elegancia y dinamismo.

El cuerpo central combina elementos vegetales y florales dorados, aplicados sobre una esfera negra que aporta contraste y sofisticación. La transformación en lámpara ha respetado la integridad ornamental del candelabro, conservando el equilibrio entre funcionalidad moderna y estética histórica.

Su peso, propio del bronce antiguo, y la calidad de los acabados revelan una manufactura artesanal de alto nivel, posiblemente francesa o italiana, pensada para interiores palaciegos o residencias aristocráticas.
