Description from the seller

Stillness Before Dawn

Life can feel like being in the ocean sometimes - waves of thoughts, feelings, and worries coming one after another. But I’ve been learning that the calm in between the waves is where the real magic is. In those quiet moments, I can breathe a little easier, my heart feels lighter, and my mind settles. I’m starting to trust those small pauses, letting them comfort me and remind me that peace isn’t far away… it’s been there all along, waiting for me to slow down and notice it.

Seller's Story

Luca Domiro is a professional artist (born 1979) with Italian heritage, originally from South Africa and now based in the United Kingdom. His passion for painting began at the age of 13 and later led him to formal Fine Art studies in Cape Town. His early years were marked by extensive travel with the renowned Drakensberg Boys’ Choir, exposing him to remarkable landscapes, wildlife, and cultures across continents. The colours, energy, and sense of wonder from those journeys continue to inform his artistic language today. Before dedicating himself fully to art, Luca spent more than two decades in the corporate world across multiple sectors. That experience strengthened his resilience, clarity of vision, and creative discipline - qualities that now shape the depth and intention of his work. Luca’s practice is rooted in the wild: the force of wildlife, the earth’s shifting textures, and the quiet resilience present in nature. His paintings explore vitality, strength, and the instinct for renewal - a reminder of the endurance within all living things. His works are collected internationally, with pieces acquired by collectors across the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific. He also participates in various exhibitions both locally and abroad.
