Study model / prototype sculpture by an Eindhoven glassblower, PROTOTYPE 01, a 4-in-1 cluster glass made of transparent laboratory glass, 25 cm high and 25 cm in diameter, Netherlands (Eindhoven), in Dutch design style, one-off and unused.
Description from the seller
Study Model / Prototype – Cluster Multi-Glass Object (4-in-1)
This unique sculptural glass object combines four different glass forms into one experimental composition. The piece brings together a wine glass, a champagne flute, and two smaller glasses suitable for whisky, cognac, or cocktails, fused into a single multi-directional object.
These are one-off study models made by an Eindhoven glassblower as part of an exploratory phase while developing new tripod-based glass shapes. Broken and rejected elements were re-used and recomposed into odd, sculptural objects. Each piece is completely unique and can be seen as a collage of different glass typologies.
The object can be placed in multiple positions and is functional, but it is primarily intended as a collectible sculptural piece — an experimental snapshot of a design process rather than a mass-produced product. An intriguing object for a cabinet, bar display, or design collection.
Handmade from high-quality laboratory glass. Heat-resistant and dishwasher-safe, though hand-washing is recommended due to the complex shape, which may retain water.
An expressive piece for glass collectors, chefs interested in unconventional serving rituals, or cocktail professionals looking for a sculptural presentation object.
Handmade in the Netherlands
Shipping & Pickup
This delicate glass object will be packed with great care using generous protective materials, including bubble wrap, cushioning chips, and a double box. Despite careful packaging, glass objects of this nature always carry a risk during transport. For absolute safety, studio pickup in Eindhoven is strongly recommended to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. If shipping is chosen, the item will be packed as securely as possible, but responsibility for damage during transport cannot be accepted.
