Rimini blue keramieken asbak, Aldo Londi voor Bitossi, jaren 1960 in Italië I

Italiaans keramieken asbak uit de Rimini Blue serie van ontwerper Aldo Londi voor Bitossi. 

Handgedraaid keramiek in witte vuurvaste klei gemaakt met een handmatige gravure. Aldo Londi (1911-2003) was schilder, beeldhouwer en voornamelijk keramist. Hij ontwierp objecten die nog steeds deel uitmaken van de geschiedenis van de Italiaanse keramiek.

Hij werd geboren in Montelupo Fiorentino. Op elfjarige leeftijd begon hij te werken voor Fanciullacci’s productie, waar hij de traditionele technieken in het maken van aardewerk kon leren.
