Cette paire de chenets anciens en fonte, marqués XIV et intitulés « Terre » et « Eau », en est un bel exemple.

Les visages sont expressifs et apaisants, semblant veiller sur la cheminée avec une force tranquille. La patine profonde et authentique témoigne du temps passé et apporte beaucoup de caractère à l’ensemble.

Le marquage XIV, discret mais bien lisible, renforce l’authenticité et l’intérêt de cette paire. Les inscriptions Terre et Eau ajoutent une dimension symbolique et poétique, rendant ces chenets particulièrement uniques.

Le contraste entre la solidité de la fonte et la finesse des traits est très harmonieux. Ces chenets sont aussi beaux en situation dans une cheminée qu’utilisés comme éléments décoratifs à part entière.
