Belle statuette Ibedji du Nigeria. Chez les Yoruba les jumeaux, triplés, etc... ont une place spécial dans la société. Cette statuette a une presence indéniable, une force primaire s'en dégage. L'expression du visage est dur et concentré. Le corps semble en tension, c'est une oeuvre forte. Le sculpteur a su nous passer une émotion a travers cette oeuvre ancienne. Le bois est bien érodé et patiné, signe d'un long usage. C'est une belle pièce de collection ancienne et authentique avec de la personnalité. Circa 1930
