The RUST BIRD II LGH0551 is a steel pendant lamp from Poland in unused, working order, with dimensions 42 cm depth, 30 cm width, 30 cm height, and a hanging-to-ceiling height of 130 cm, dating from circa 2025, featuring a natural rust finish by Gie El.
Description from the seller
The RUST BIRD II lamp covered in natural rust is the most popular model of the Gie El brand. This lamp is like a bird captured mid-flight, full of harmony and dynamism. The modern, geometric RUST BIRD II lamp in an extraordinary color will add character to any interior.
Rusty sheet metal is one of the favorite materials used by the Gie El brand. As architect and co-founder of Gie El, Jacek Rypuła says: 'Rust is the new gold.' We achieve a rusty coating on thin steel in cooperation with nature. We let it work and leave its mark on the product. Each time slightly different, subtly changed, depending on external weather conditions. It can confidently be said that the lamp is painted by the hand of nature. After obtaining the rusty coating, the material is protected with a clear, matte coating, making it safe for indoor use, resistant to dirt, and not prone to crumbling.
The modern form of the lamp, revealing the light bulb, allows for the use of decorative variants. For this model, we recommend using an 'Edison' type bulb with a visible filament, which will further emphasize the character of the lamp and the play of light.
