This contemplative low table is a one of a kind piece, crafted from a unique slice of solid walnut. Its form is defined by a low, grounded profile, featuring a free form slab top resting securely on two robust, natural log supports. The piece evokes the aesthetic of a traditional Japanese display stand or kadai, designed to elevate and honor the objects placed upon it while maintaining a harmonious connection to the earth.

The top surface creates a stunning visual stage, showcasing the wood's concentric growth rings and rich tonal variations. The edges are left natural and organic, following the tree's original contours. The contrast between the expansive, flat plateau of the top and the sturdy, round volume of the legs creates a satisfying structural balance that feels both rustic and refined.

Hand assembled and finished with care, this stand is intended to bring a sense of ceremony to a space. It is exceptionally versatile in its function. It serves beautifully as a low tea table, a meditation altar, a centerpiece for a coffee table, or a dedicated plinth for displaying bonsai, sculpture, or a collection of ceramics. It is designed for interiors that value mindfulness and the beauty of imperfection.

Perfect for Wabi Sabi, Japandi, Zen, or rustic modern interiors, it introduces a layer of organic texture and a quiet, meditative atmosphere to any setting.

Finished with natural oils and waxes to protect the wood and enhance the warmth of its grain while keeping the surface smooth and tactile. Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to transforming raw timber into expressive, heirloom grade furniture.
