Olivetti “Valentine” typewriter by Ettore Sottsass.
Ettore Sottsass, with the help of Perry A. King, designed the red Valentine typewriter, which is considered one of the defining creations of 20th century design. It is considered a milestone in industrial design. Almost every major design collection contains examples, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The machine was available in red, green, white and blue.
It was manufactured first in Italy, then in Spain and finally in Mexico.
