Collection of 8 Japanese Shunga Prints – After Kiyonaga, Kunisada & Eisen – Woodblock Reprints c.1930

Dimensions: 17.8 × 12.8 cm each

A collection of eight Japanese shunga (erotic ukiyo-e) woodblock print reproductions dating from approximately 1930. The prints are based on works by renowned ukiyo-e artists including Kiyonaga, Kunisada, Eisen and others.
The set presents fine examples of traditional Japanese woodblock imagery and offers an attractive insight into the artistic and cultural heritage of the Edo period through early 20th-century reproductions.
Condition
Good overall condition for age. The prints show signs of wear and ageing, including tanning of the paper, occasional stains, and minor blemishes or wear along some margins and frames. Please refer carefully to the photographs, which form an integral part of the description.
