No reserve price! Pale Grey-white and russet nephrite jade pendant –China- 20th Century On offer is an interesting local-made open work pendant. This freeform pendant is shaped as a stylized horn of abundance and chilong-dragon crawling out of it. There are some enhanced russet tones used to emphasize the horn of abundance. The whole design is based on an Archaic example. The execution is simple but charming. This pendant has a semi-gloss. Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a slight post-treatment of the natural russet color. Provenance: This pendant is obtained from inland China. a good jade, suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.
