Service consisting of 6 flat plates and a centerpiece with handles. An antique set from the 19th century marked William Ridgway WR in English ceramic, decorated in a brown/gray transferware style on a white background. The plate features a scalloped relief border with a floral pattern at the four corners. The center of the plate depicts a landscape scene with an imposing building, trees, human figures, and a boat, typical of neoclassical style decorations.
The service may present craquelé and stains typical of the material's nature and consistent with the passage of time.
Embossing at the base and edge of a plate as shown in the photo.
