Description from the seller
Jambhala is an important figure in Tibetan Buddhism and is regarded as the Buddhist god of wealth and prosperity.
He is the Buddhist counterpart of the Hindu god Kubera and is often depicted as a corpulent figure with yellow or gold skin.
Main features
Jambhala is usually depicted sitting on a lotus, with his right foot extended.
In his right hand he often holds a lemon or a jewel that grants wishes (cintamani)
In his left hand he holds a mongoose (Nakula) that spews jewels, a symbol of abundance.
He wears opulent jewelry and a crown, which emphasizes his status as the god of wealth.
Five manifestations: There are five different forms of Jambhala, each with its own color: yellow (the most common), white, green, red, and black. Each form has specific qualities and is worshiped for different purposes.
Spiritual meaning: Although Jambhala is associated with material wealth, his meaning goes deeper — he also helps practitioners develop spiritual wealth, overcome obstacles, and cultivate generosity. His practice is often used to alleviate poverty and bring prosperity, both materially and spiritually.
