AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Tomatin 1978 Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky

Cask numbers 49541 and 49542 have been lying dormant in stock no. 6 since they were filled on September 21, 1978, where the precious spirit inside, has gently and slowly matured.

After thirty years, the spirit was moved to the finest 1st fill Oloroso Sherry casks from Spain, to lie for another decade where it has been cared for by our meticulous distillery managers.

After more than 41 years of patience, the reward comes – in perfect harmony, aromas of stewed fruit, dark maple syrup, bursts of orange peel and bergamot meet the soft flavours of dark chocolate, warming spices and salted caramel before finishing it all off in a long and silky finish.

Each of the 350 units is decanted in an exquisite hand-blown Glencairn Crystal decanter with a unique copper decoration.

This luxury bottle is presented together with two glasses (also Glencairn Crystal), a solid copper stopper. Comes with a numbered certificate detailing the whisky's remarkable journey.

A piece of whisky history in magnificent packaging!

Please note that I have several bottles of this same reference, the (serial-, bottle-) number shown in the pictures maybe different from the number on the actual bottle you recieve. Naturally, the condition will be identical.
