These instruments have been played by some of the greatest guitarists in the world, such as Julian Bream, Andrés Segovia, Laurindo Almeida, Oscar Ghiglia, José Luis González, and many others. The Ramirez family is part of the history of classical guitar. José Ramirez I (1858-1923) trained many luthiers in his workshop at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. José Ramirez III (1922-1995) was a pioneer in using cedar as the wood for the top and built numerous guitars for Andrés Segovia.
This guitar is an exceptional instrument, with a rich sound! The notes are balanced throughout the entire scale.
