Description from the seller
Classic work from the 1970s by the famous Venetian artist Gustavo Boldrini (Venice 1927-Salsomaggiore 1988), an artist who participated in a couple of Venice Biennials and held countless exhibitions in Italy and abroad. A typical young artist who, in the post-war period, in his paintings represents the traumatic pains of the war and the hope, though turbulent, of a new and better world in which to live. Oil and acrylic on canvas realized in his Milan period in 1972, not so much in the subject but in the relatively unusual tonal colors. Signed on the front and dated by the Artist. The painting is in overall excellent condition and will be shipped with careful packaging to avoid damage to the canvas, without glass but with the frame as shown in the photo. Canvas 40x60 cm, plus frame total about 50x70 cm. Careful and prompt shipping. Work coming from my personal collection. The frame is to be considered a gift.
