Sculpture décorative moderniste représentant un voilier stylisé en céramique bicolore (blanc et noir) émaillée.

Formes épurées, courbes et dynamiques. Traitement très graphique avec contraste noir / blanc. Aspect minimaliste typique du design mid-century modern. Influence possible des années 1950–1970.

Ce type de pièce était très populaire dans la décoration intérieure moderne, notamment dans les ambiances “bord de mer chic” ou contemporaines.

Le voilier stylisé était un motif très apprécié :
dans le design scandinave,
dans la céramique allemande et italienne des années 60,
dans la décoration française de la même époque.
