Description from the seller
Beautifully built 4/4 Saxon violin by Ewald BRUCKNER from Markneukirchen from the thirties. The violin is finished down to every detail and a delight to behold. The violin has a small internally repaired crack at the lower right of the top plate, perhaps 50 years old, barely visible. The violin has a strong dominant warm tone
The measurements are:
Total length. 59.9 cm
Mensur. 32.7 cm
Corpus. 36.1 cm
Taille. 11.5 cm
Breedte boven. 16.8 cm
Breedte onder. 20.9 cm
Violine and bows that are described as 'certified' or 'attributed' contain images of their certificates and therefore have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, provenance and age than instruments described only as 'labeled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we do not give any warranty.
