Prachtige filigraan vlinderbroche met een lichte goudlaag over het zilver, ook wel gold wash of vermeil genoemd, wat een warme, antieke uitstraling geeft.

Een authentiek stukje Italiaans vakmanschap vervaardigd uit 800 zilver.

Dit type filigraanwerk is een diepgewortelde traditie in Italië. 

De techniek die hier gebruikt is, waarbij fijne zilverdraden in krullen en spiralen zijn gelegd, wordt ook wel Cannetille genoemd.

Voorzien van specifieke markeringen op de achterzijde:

Het getal "800" en het ruitvormige keurmerk (Lozenge) dat gebruikt werd tussen 1944 en 1968.

Lengte van de broche is 6,0 cm.
Breedte is 4,0 cm.
Gewicht is 12,0 gram.

Na decennia van zorgvuldig verzamelen heb ik besloten om (een deel van) mijn collectie van de hand te doen. Ik gun deze bijzondere objecten een plek bij een nieuwe liefhebber die de waarde van historisch behoud begrijpt.
