Vintage bottle of Catto’s 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky, bottled by James Catto & Company Ltd., Renfrew, Scotland.
Catto’s, founded in Aberdeen in the 19th century, is historically regarded as one of the early pioneers of blended Scotch whisky. This 12-year-old expression represented the brand’s premium range during its time.
The bottle format (75 cl / 86 Proof) indicates an export bottling, most likely from the 1970s.
Condition:
Fill level: Upper shoulder (very good for age)
Capsule: Original black capsule with gold signature, showing age-related wear
