Description from the seller

The Altair 8800 is widely regarded as the spark that ignited the personal computer revolution. Released in 1975 as a build-it-yourself kit, it was the first commercially successful microcomputer affordable to hobbyists. Although primitive by modern standards—programmed with switches and lights—it inspired a generation of innovators and demonstrated that computing power could exist outside large institutions. Its impact was profound: it helped launch Microsoft and accelerated the shift toward personal, accessible computing, making it a cornerstone of computer history.

This particular Model is for restoration and not in working condition. Although it has the completely wired front panel with switches, Motherboard, and cables, it does not include the CPU Board and no working Power Supply.
