Een oude grote  mahoniehouten lezenaar met fineer afwerking uit Engeland . Te dateren rond 1900. 
Deze lezenaar is gemeten ( zie foto 4 ) 52,5cm breed , 39cm diep en 12,5cm hoog . In de hoogte is het boekensteuntje vooraan niet meegerekend . Met groene feuter bovenop .
De volledige hoogte bij openstand is 37,5cm . Zie foto 2 .
Deze lezenaar is door een metalen systeem in verschillende standen te zetten . Zie foto’s .
Staat : de constructie zelf is perfect .
Afwerking : door gebruik en ouderdom zijn er kleine beschadigingen en in het verleden is er fineer terug aangebracht .
Toch blijft deze lezenaar een prachtig voorbeeld van oude ambacht , zie bv de gedraaide pootjes .
Een lezenaar om een oud boek prachtig te presenteren .
