Expressive woodcut by Hanka Krawcec, showing a modern, expressionistically interpreted male portrait with a dove. The deliberately stylized depiction with an elongated neck gives the figure an elegant, almost symbolic effect and underscores the modern character of the work. Clear lines, strong contrasts and a reduced formal language are typical for the woodcut technique and grant the image a striking graphic presence.
