Description
Unique Radius Full Page Display Video Card SET for Macintosh SE (1987)
For vintage Apple computer enthusiasts:
a very rare and complete Radius expansion set for the Macintosh SE.
With this set, the original Macintosh SE could drive an external vertical "Full Page" display, which at the time was the gold standard for graphic designers.
What’s in the set?
Radius FPD Video Card: Model 630-5001, featuring ROM v3.3.
Original PDS Riser Card: The indispensable adapter to connect the card to the Mac SE motherboard.
Internal cable with DB-9 connector: The connection to the outside of the enclosure.
Original metal mounting bracket: For a sturdy installation in the Mac.
Condition of the object: The cards look visually fantastic: no leaking capacitors, no corrosion, and no damage to the traces. Note: The set is sold as "not tested" (As-is), since I no longer have the accompanying Radius monitor or a working Macintosh SE to verify the video output.
Price: Offer based on value. Connoisseurs know what these complete sets (including the riser card and bracket) are worth. Rough price for the complete set is approx. €125.
Pickup can be in Pijnacker or shipping (risk and cost borne by the buyer, of course packaged in anti-static foil).
