In questa intensa immagine dedicata alla tradizionale Corsa dei Ceri di Gubbio, Mario Giacomelli restituisce l’energia collettiva e il movimento travolgente della festa popolare. Ripresa dall’alto, la folla si trasforma in una trama dinamica di volti, gesti e ombre che attraversano lo spazio con grande forza grafica.
Come spesso accade nella fotografia di Giacomelli, la scena reale viene trasfigurata in una composizione quasi astratta, costruita attraverso contrasti netti e un ritmo visivo potente. La moltitudine diventa così un vero e proprio paesaggio umano, in cui il movimento e la tensione della festa si condensano in una visione intensa e immediata.
