The console presents itself in excellent cosmetic condition and is fully functional; only the second player’s controller has occasional uncertainty with the firing button, probably the contacts need cleaning.
After being cleaned and tested it was wrapped again in heat-shrink film to best preserve its excellent condition.
Naturally this is a vintage item of about forty years of age, sold as such; fully functional but with light signs of use and wear.
Together with the ColecoVision, the power supply and the two game cartridges Donkey Kong and Mr. Do! will be shipped.
The photos were taken on the very day the listing was published.
This console, probably originally intended for the French market, is a rare variant that natively uses an SCART video output. This eliminates compatibility problems with modern televisions and allows viewing the video image without glitches or interference, which, as the last two photos demonstrate, is comparable to the HDMI view of modern consoles.
This ColecoVision comes from my private collection; I am an avid collector of vintage machines and every piece I put up for sale has been part of my collection, bought by me for myself, completely dismantled, cleaned, serviced, and repaired where necessary to bring it as close as possible to its original condition. All this simply out of passion.
