Rare electronic Barcode Battler game console published by Epoch Co., Ltd. in the early 1990s, here in the French edition. This original system, distributed under the Tomy brand, relies on reading barcoded cards converted into combat statistics and life points in a futuristic battle universe. The presented box carries the reference 7008 and clearly mentions the French edition on the box. The underside of the console indicates 1991 Epoch Co., Ltd. – Made in China.

The set includes the Barcode Battler console, its original box, the instruction booklet, the booklet “Your Power Force Mission,” the illustrated game cards, as well as blank cards. The back of the box specifies that the set included a Power Force card game and 5 blank cards, which aligns with the product’s spirit. Here we have an interesting lot for a collector of electronic games and atypical gaming items from the 1990s.

Condition: Excellent overall visual condition. The box shows edge wear and visible rubbing in the photos. Not tested
