Een mooie set Delftsblauwe genummerde handgeschilderde schotels.
Voorstellende een portret oorspronkelijk gemaakt door G ter Borch en een portret oorspronkelijk gemaakt door J van Ostade.
Inmiddels ontdekt dat deze rond 1898 gemaakt zijn bij Mettlach Villeroy Boch (zie correspondentie laatste foto met deskundige Mettlach produkten in Duitsland).

Doen qua kwaliteit niet onder voor produkten van de Porceleyne Fles.
De borden zijn achthoekig octagonaal.
Moeten in een standaard gezet worden.
Zeer waarschijnlijk heeft er aan bovenkant nog een oogje gezeten om bord op te hangen.
Bij beide borden lijkt bovenaan iets weggeslepen te zijn. Jammergenoeg heeft deskundige van Mettlach geen afbeelding beschikbaar van hoe het bovenstuk origineel zou moeten zijn.
Bij vooraanzicht is van het ontbrekende onderdeel hiervan niets zichtbaar.
Voelt ook gewoon mooi glad aan.
