Description from the seller

Porcelain coupe with a contoured edge, decorated in the Imari palette in underglaze blue, iron red, and polychrome highlights with a pattern of floral reserves and stylized scrolls.
The center features a circular blue medallion with a design of birds and foliage.

The cup is mounted in a gilt bronze mount resting on three feet, adorned with two handles formed by stylized dragons, probably added in Europe in the 19th century to transform the cup into a decorative object or centerpiece.

Typical work of Arita porcelain, probably late 18th century.

Dimensions: 28 cm x 17 cm x 21 cm (with the mount).
