This is a Japanese cast iron kettle with a crackle glaze finish and hand-carved high-relief designs of ginkgo branches, fruits, and birds. The lid is shaped like a ginkgo leaf. The kettle is in excellent condition and has an inscription on the bottom. It possesses both practical and collectible value.
