Messaggerie - Parlor - - Acoustic guitar - Italy

Made in Sicily - Italy 1960s 1970s Messaggerie Musicali Milano Parlor size acoustic guitar. Probably a student model, but very well made, with nice woods. Solid top, arched back Scale Lenght 648mm Nut width 42.80mm Depth at 1st fret 24.50mm Depth at 10th fret 26.50mm (a D shaped neck profile) Great rosewood fingerboard. plastic inlays, tasty rosette & bindings. Neck is mahogany Bridges has been tuned up to enhance intonation and get the saddle on the right spot. the guitar is in Excellent Good Condition, very few marks of use, and marks on finish at the back and bottom. At this age, despite the signs of use, it is in great condition actually. Geometrically correct and no bad side effects of wood/glue/finish aging. The single tuning machines are the originals. The neck is straight, frets %80. The guitars plays nicely, intonates quiet right. The tone is loud deep and beautiful. Very chimey, lots of overtones and despite the relatively smaller size trembles with lots of power pushing the players body with resonance. A part of this owes to the arched back we guess. Please watch to see and hear the beautiful performance of this guitar on youtube video, the link https://youtu.be/I9TEpPQS28M Recently has been cleaned, set-up and strung with a fresh Martin Marquis strings set, custom selected for this guitar gauge 09-042. Unfortunately No case nor gigbag with this guitar. Will be carefully wrapped around at the time of packing for shipping out. Will be very well packed in carboard box. International shipping is available
