These games are the cradle of the modern gaming industry, characterized by the quality of Nintendo.

Egg from 1981 is one of the most legendary and hard-to-find titles in Nintendo’s Game & Watch series and is often called the “holy grail” by collectors. The game belongs to the Wide Screen series and has simple but addictive gameplay where the player must catch falling eggs without letting them break.

The game is often compared to Mickey Mouse, another Game & Watch game with nearly identical gameplay. Nintendo developed Egg as an alternative after the licensing for Disney characters (such as Mickey Mouse) could not be used in all markets. Therefore this version received its own theme with eggs instead of Mickey catching eggs.

Fun fact: because Egg was produced in much smaller quantities than the Disney variants and was less distributed internationally, it is today one of the rarest Game & Watch models and a true gem for collectors.
